Palmyra Fire believes the best way to stop fires is to prevent them from even happening.
As a result, our goal is to inform as many members of the public to the best of our ability on how to prevent fires from occurring and what to do in the unfortunate event of a fire in your home, business, or more. Fire prevention education is important for all age groups thus we commonly visit schools to teach children, can use birthday parties or other special events as a time to teach, and more. You may also request us if you’re hosting an event and would like us present to interact with the attendees and provide fire prevention material as we love every chance we get to spend time with the community we serve.
How do I schedule an event?
It’s easy! Email fireprevention@palmyrafire.com or call (717) 838-1421 with your request with information such as the location, what the occasion is, date and time you’d like us to be present, and what you would like us there for such as to educate or hand out fire prevention items for children to enjoy or other plans. You may also schedule to bring students / groups to our firehouse for tours and fire prevention education. Once received, we will get back to you at our earliest convenience to confirm any other information we may require to get your event scheduled with us.
