Palmyra Fire

The past few days the Palmyra Volunteers have kept busy handling 2 additional building fires from the last post. Thursday afternoon Tower and Wagon 1 assisted Lawn Fire Company on a 2nd Alarm house fire. The Tower set up to preform aerial master stream operations while the Wagon established a fill site. Units operated on scene for about 4 hours. Friday morning Wagon 1 was dispatched to assist Annville Cleona Fire Department on a Hay Shed fire. Wagon 1 assumed first due engine responsibilities putting 2 lines in service while splitting crews to supplement Tower 58. Clearing the shed fire Wagon 1 and Deputy 1 came across a Fire Police Officer struck by a passing vehicle. Crews immediately tended to the officer who suffered non life threatening injuries. Crews then took a brief break to enjoy lunch together before going back to work sorting the Patriotic T-Shirts for this weekend’s pickup! ... See MoreSee Less

The fire company’s have been busy and thank you, I hope you all can enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend. The picture are very nice.

Killing it!

Definitely sad for anyone who loses their house, nice people they are.

Thank you for all you do for our community.

I want to say thank you so much for the help yesterday. I am home from the hospital very sore.

Christopher Ward glad you are doing OK. If you haven't already, could you please go to Www.ReportStruckBy.com and report the incident. That is one tool we use to track responder struckby incidents.

Thank you all your service
