How’d the hay bale fire rekindle?
Great job everyone and stay safe
We thought it was a controlled burn. Guess it just got out of hand.
Today was day three and the wrap of our annual engine and truck academies, which included twelve evolutions under live fire conditions. Crews completed scenarios such as basement fires, first floor fires, and second floor fires while performing primary searches, forcible entry, vertical and horizontal ventilation, victim removal, and fire suppression. Huge thank you to Hershey Volunteer Fire Company for standing by to protect the Borough and Township yesterday and today while we could further our skills and knowledge.
