Rescue 1 was a 1997 Sutphen/JB Rescue Heavy Rescue with a 25kw generator and a 9,000 watt light tower. This unit was equipped to handle fire, vehicle rescue, trench, confined space, and also perform as a RIT team. The rescue responded last out on all in district structure alarms, 1st out on all RIT team calls as well as on vehicle accident calls.
