***Live-In Firefighters Wanted***

The personal rewards and satisfaction we receive from our work are often beyond description. There is a sense of accomplishment when you control a building fire, joy and elation when a child is born, compassion for accident victims, and fulfillment from teaching fire safety.

The bottom line in our business is measured by the loss of life, pain, and suffering, as well as the property damage we have prevented and reduced.

Volunteering in emergency services is not just a decision, it's a commitment to something bigger than yourself. We urge you to give this decision the time and serious consideration it deserves, and potentially join our dedicated ranks.

We attached a video for your viewing pleasure which shows a scenario using our hose bundles, however there are other options and we trained on each of them. The video was shortened due to Facebook restrictions. ... See MoreSee Less

Good Sunday evening, we just wanted to take a moment to share a friendly reminder that this dumpster area behind our fire station is not for public use. It is shared between the fire station, the police department, and Borough offices so as you may imagine, we need all the dumpster space we can get. There have been some recent instances of people dumping trash and other large household and automotive items, causing issues for us as well as the trash collectors. Please avoid publicly dumping here and remember you can always take your large items to the county refuse center 🙂 Thank You! ... See MoreSee Less
