Last evening for weekly drill, members refreshed on a picket anchoring system for rope rescues. Then crews transitioned into a scenario that included rescuing an individual who was unconscious at height.

Recently, Palmyra Fire placed in service a 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500. This will serve as the Duty Vehicle. This vehicle is assigned to the on-duty line officer. Each duty tour lasts one week and begins on Monday at 7:00 p.m. During their tour, the officer is responsible for commanding incidents and handling all logistical duties. Palmyra Fire thanks B. Moyer Radio Communications for outfitting the new vehicle.
